15Full gameplay longplay, playthrough walkthrough, guide and trueplay of the PS1 port of the 1993 Namco arcade game Cyber Sled. Which used a twin stick control system similar to what SEGA'S Virtual On would later use in 1995. Cyber Sled is a very fast pace action tank shooter and some may say too fast as the battles are over in seconds. Which does shows off one of the key flaws with the game as it really is very short.
This PlayStation one version also omits the arcade story intro and the training mode, which allowed players to get a feel for the tank. Which was a hug mistakes, it's also very much a bare bones port which doesn't help with just arcade and versus mode. On the plus side the PS1 versions adds in all news FMV intros and doubles the roster character roster, along with all new visuals and the option to swap to the arcade graphics too. The arcade ladder now has you taking on 11 opponents with Damon Hargley being the final boss. The game, doesn't allow continues either, just to may it that much hard, but the game is really easy only the final boss really offers any challenge.
It's a fun, but very short game and one that needed more game modes to warrant the full price on release.
