I, like I do in must runs, forgot about ornstien. That fucking dragon and hoard of hiede knights are so much tougher than he is and it gates you out of fighting him until you're over prepped for him. They ruined hiedes tower of flame so much, everyone knows scholar fucked with iron keep and made it harder than it needs to be, but they fucked up hiedes so bad. Orntstien was an early game boss before and you can see me fight him as one in my coc/+0 playthrough of OG ds2 and he works better that way. Anyhow, I got flynns ring which the ladle has an awkward relationship with flynn's ring. The ladle only functions with mundane infusion which requires leveling vit, but leveling vit ruins flynns ring. At the same time, flynn's ring is a godsend to all joke weapons since it gives flat damage to their low damage asses. So there is a goldilocks zone for the mundane infusion and flynn's ring and it is 21 in every stat. At 21 in every stat, including vit, you still get good damage from flynn's ring and the mundane infusion if you level vit any further the flynn's ring loses and mundane infusion gains will neutralize eachother and you're just wasting levels, it's not until around 30 in each stat that mundane infusion beats flynn's ring and makes it obsolete, you need to be like level 214 or so for mundane infusion to finally trump flynn's ring entirely, and that won't happen without a bit of farming, so flynn's ring stays and my stats will remain at 21, expect vigor and endurance which I will use as my stat dumps since they actually help a little bit.
