I successfully ventured into 4-2 early as possible to get the ring of avarice for increased soul yield, so that's nice. And in turn I successfully stocked up on souls using soul gain increasing gear in the first archstones and cashed out on black pine resin (or turpentine whatever). The next bosses won't be as hard because my damage is going to be a lot better, I don't have to worry about my resources as much, and I can start leveling up since I don't need to worry about saving up my souls anymore.
