Penetrator is cool, allant sucks. Storm King forces an exception to the one rule of the run. I'm gonna do this on the PS3 version as well mostly just because I feel cheap that I was able to farm so damn much pine resin right at the start and give myself a huge leg up in the brutal early game which was the hardest part of the run. In the OG game won't be possible since those fire dreglings dont exist. Also I just like doing my playthroughs in both versions.

Also I may as well say this somewhere, but no this wasn't a "broken broken sword" run, it's just a broken sword run. I didn't leave my broken sword in a broken state the whole game as an extra challenge, it's just more optimal to leave it broken rather than bother trying to repair it. The sword does 1 without a buff regardless of it's broken or not and repairing it is a waste of money given how quickly it will break again and how nonexistent the difference is.
