DFFOO GL - Dimensions End Transcendence Tier 1: Crucible 1 - Freya/Lightning/Paladin Cecil
I didn't plan on including Transcendence into my Freya Lufenia Saga since she gets locked into a tier anyway if I do it with her. However I had to give her a go and was hoping to at least get her into one of the bottom stages. Well I did that, and used her in the final stage too. So I can post all three runs then.
This first stage was fairly easy, in fact I actually had to do it twice as OBS screwed up recording the audio the first time. It's pretty much just a minimal boss turns strategy, though I wanted to see how I got on with Freya's SPD aura instead of using the obvious Amidatelion. Turns out I was able to do quite well this way though not enough to keep them shut down the whole fight, so I took Krile LDCA for paralysis and Arciela CA for HP Attack Disable. This allowed me to round things out and avoid getting hit by the bosses' most threatening attacks. The turn count seems tight, but since I had to do this twice with the exact same turn count both times, it's seems like something you can rigidly and reliably pass. It seems like they want you to use off turn damage dealers or free turn users in most of your party here, but just Lightning with some good support and AoE partners is enough. Freya's EX can do really nice AoE damage on this team with all of the HP Damage Up. 140K on a split damage attack? Ridiculous!
Not much to say on this one, these guys were just punching bags with this setup. Only thing I might add is that the "Enemy Search" move that the enemies use missed Cecil three times and they will keep using the move, which also delays their own turns, until it hits. While it's not at all necessary for this to happen for my run since I still had an easy time in my first run where the audio wasn't recording, this may be something that can be intentionally taken advantage of on other teams.
I should note as well that these three runs were done before Lightning and Cloud's LD boards came out. They would be slightly easier if I had waited for them to come out.
