No Tifa Run 1 - CoD FR Run
Party: CoD FRBT+3/3 (Cinque LD), Lunafreya FRBT+3/3 (Seymour LD), Selphie LD (Quistis LD)
The boss has immunity to breaks which prevent CoD from building up her stacks fast. Thankfully, they are not immune to launches and delay so CoD actually still usable here. I have made use of delay LDCA (Cinque, Seymour, and Quistis) so that I can abuse her Force Time mechanics :) You can replace them with Seifer, Cloud, etc)
Strategy Tips
Setup Phase
- Have CoD use her LD
- Have Lunafreya give Quick Prayer on CoD. Charge up her stacks with S1 x2, AA and ends her turn with her S2. Use Seymour base call for some HP DMG up debuff
- Have Selphie use Wall x2 and LD.
- Lunafreya uses LD, EX, and S1 until the gauge is full. End her turn with her BT finisher. Have CoD use her BT finisher, uses Cinque LDCA
First CoD Force Time
Uses her FR, Cinque base call, and EX.
- Use Quistis LDCA and Selphie use LD and Luna use EX.
- CoD enter into her BURST spam S2 x3, FR, EX and use LD to and BT finisher
Charging and Second CoD Force Time
- Have Selphie and Lunafreya supercharge the gauge and have CoD activate her second FR before boss HP drop to 49%. Have Lunafreya give CoD a Quick Prayer so CoD can have 4 consecutive turns. When Force Time is at 1, summon Brothers for a free 10 million HP dmg and continue the onslaught.
3rd Force Time - Lunafreya and the finishing touches
Start your charging phase and the boss will activate its Force Time once you exit the summon. Charge until the Force Time is full. Use Seymour LDCA and have Lunafreya activate her Force Time. You should be able to break the 20 million shield to finish the fight.

Note: All 3 characters are EX+3LB with their bloom passives & their enhancement boards. CoD has her BURST+3/3, FR+3/3, LD & the following spheres - her own, Papalymo, Aerith (RF). Lunafreya has her BURST+3/3, FR+3/3, LD & the following spheres - her own, Maria and Jecht (RF). Selphie has her LD & the following spheres - PCecil (RF), Hope (RF), and Wakka (RF).

SPIRITUS Overview
- The Brontekeras has 210 million HP.
- It absorbs thunder and is weak against Earth. It is immune to any debuffs that prevent action.
- You cannot bring friend support. To get Grade S, you need to clear within 50 turns.
Force Gauge Effects
- Always - The boss BRV cannot drop below 20% of its MAX BRV
- Force gauge ≥ 40% - All enemies MAX BRV Down 100%
- Force gauge ≥ 60% - All enemies MAX BRV Down 200%
- Force gauge ≥ 80% - All enemies MAX BRV Down 300%
Force Ability
- Red Thunder Burst++ – Recovers from BREAK, Cleanses all debuffs, AOE BRV
- Cancel: Use melee ST FR ability
Force Time | 3 turns
Gains the following enhancements during force time:
• Post Turn BRV Regen by 50% of MAX BRV
• Can not be delayed (excludes breaks)
Key HP thresholds
- SPIRITUS auras will trigger at the start of the fight
- Boss has a standard moveset rotation - Thunderblade (AOE BRV+HP), Ceraluen Bolt (ST BRV, ATK Up) & Godthunder
- At the 59% HP threshold, it will recover 1 S1 and 1 S2 skill uses.
- At the 49% HP threshold, the boss fills its Force Time to MAX.
- It activates its aura stacking gauge and there will be a prompt that informs you need to deal critical damage to maintain it. When the gauge is between 10 to 5, it will emit a yellow aura. When the gauge is between 4 to 1, it will emit the red aura. When the gauge reaches zero, it will use a Godthunder+ - ST BRV attack, dispel lefthand most buff, guaranteed hit, inflict paralysis for 3T (bypass Debuff evasion)
- It will activate its furious phase at the 29% HP threshold where you need to deplete its HP from 29% to 9% within 30 turns. Failure to do so will trigger the Red Thunder Burst counter which will kill off your party.
- It will activate a 20 million HP shield when its HP is at 9 million. You need to break the shield to end the fight. Failure to do so will trigger the Red Thunder Burst counter which will kill off your party.
Score
- Clear within 50 turns and below: Grade S
- Clear between 51 to 99 turns: Grade A
- Clear at 100 turns: Boss will use Red Thunder Burst to end the fight with a Grade B clear.
