The All Progressives Congress, APC, says plans are on the way to ensure that people in the diaspora exercise their franchise in the 2027 general elections.

The acting Chairman, diaspora APC, United Kingdom Chapter, Tunde Doherthy disclosed this at a news conference after the submission of his expression of interest and nomination form at the party's National Secretariat in Abuja.

He said despite failed attempts in the past, the diaspora arm of the party is working tirelessly to ensure that the obstacles are surmounted.

The Aspirant for the chairmanship position of the diaspora APC, United Kingdom Chapter further spoke on their huge contribution to the nation's economy through foreign direct inflows.

He however, urged Nigerians to be patient with the ongoing reforms of the President, Tinubu led administration.
