• Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Hacker's Memor...
Another main case boss battle. This time we're facing off against two Mega Digimon in UlforceVeedramon and Kentaurosmon. Both are known for being blazing fast in terms of turns accumulated, so we want to take them out one at a time. Kentaurosmon is less immediately dangerous, much of his moveset being occupied by status debuffs that don't make that much of a difference, so I leave him for last.
Though the bosses are resistant to Bug, the ailment does occasionally kick in, as seen in the video, just before UlforceVeedramon is about to kick the bucket. This turns my Gryphonmon-fronted team's type advantage into a disadvantage whenever UlforceVeedramon is attacking, and switching in some Virus-types just means somebody will always be at a disadvantage until one of the two is eliminated. It's only a matter of connecting one GranKuwagamon Dimension Scissor before Kentaurosmon is the only one standing and I can employ my Data team once again.
Kentaurosmon isn't exactly harmless, with debuffs actually playing a role in the matchup, and his special Odin's Breath inflicting MT damage while occasionally sleeping somebody in our ranks; however, the damage isn't exactly overwhelming if Bug doesn't kick in again. It's really just a minor nuisance at this point, and the scales of battle have been tipped in our favour.
