   • Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Hacker's ...

AKA a video with mostly chapter 13 fights (and an early chapter 14 one). It features challenges we overcame with some of the familiar Digimon from the previous videos.

0:00 Dinosaurists Leader (BurningGreymon & MagnaGarurumon)

The battle against two Ultimate Greymon and Garurumon alts is a major highlight. Both are Free-type, meaning they do not have a rock/paper/scissors weakness we have a chance to exploit. This is essentially a queue for piercers to come in and do their best to inflict as much damage as possible. MagnaGarurumon is the best target for Phantomons' piercing specials, being a Dark-weak Light Digimon.

I mostly attack with Phantomons, using Okuwamon (who is worse at dealing damage) to heal up, equipped for speed (yet built for attack). The damage incurred is unreal, and there's a nice cliffhanger in the video where I have Phantomon as the sole survivor with 18 HP. And you thought Akira Hosaka was the only battle where Digimon were dying right, left and centre...

3:33 Laptop Hacker (Numemon, ShellNumemon & Geremon)

More poopy negative status fun. The opposition is surprisingly inept at inflicting their ailments this time, wasting turn inflicting paralysis on a full Vaccine MegaKabuterimon team (its passive prevents the status). When it comes to inflicting damage, these guys just haven't got it, especially at a consistent type disadvantage.

6:48 Dragomon

A battle won in the equipped accessory menu. Dragomon's Tekeli-li inflicts sleep AND panic on the party at once, and this is crippling enough to consistently robs us of an opportunity to inflict damage. Sleep and Panic protection on a full Vaccine MegaKabuterimon team is the way to go here. With the right accessories, the threat is all but gone.

EDIT: Apparently, left an unedited part of the recording, failing to notice it while editing (recorded a ton of new Digimon videos). Thanks to YouTube's relatively new Video Editor, I'm told it will be edited out in 9 minutes, so that's good enough news to me.

8:45 Akiba Flannel Leader (Infermon 2x, MetalGreymon (Blue))

A major advancement in our attempts to get stronger is being able to buy a Datamon from the DigiMarket (just one works wonders). It may not be anything spectacular as a Virus magic user, but its ability to get extra 10% scan rates from its passive means we can now recruit all scannable Megas we meet. Remember Gryphonmon many chapters ago, who we fought but had to give up on due to Megas having 5% scan rates, which is only augmented to 95% via Researcher USBs? Make that 105% now, which is just sufficient for a digi conversion! Before the boss battle in this video, this nets me Puppetmon, Plesiomon and, most importantly, my first possible GranKuwagamon! Levelling till lv. 60 and requiring stat training, this bad boy doesn't immediately pop up in this video, where Phantomons are doing a decent enough job without him, but his entry is inevitable.

Going up against a Virus and two Free-types, this battle is great for belting out our finest piercing specials. Beelzemon replaces the usual partner Erika, whose Wormmon is universal in his utility that provides healing, attack and defence buffs (even if you have an INT-based team, the latter is probably not superfluous in survival). Beelzemon really shone in battles against mooks where he could take out one of them in a single attack, but here he doesn't really seem to do much. Still; look guys, Beelzemon! His conversation at the end is pretty cool, too, I guess.
