We invented a new machine over here at CCP that let’s us zip around all over the place.... so we can make fun of everything.

Our inspiration is Mystery Science Theatre 3000, which is one of our favorite shows. We’ve always wanted to take a crack at emulating that kind of riff heavy content.... however, we lacked a visual device that would make that possible....until now.

Our CCP Machine, for lack of a better name, allows us to embed video, identify our voices while we riff, and rate content as it’s playing out before our audience. This Disney Food Review is a test run of some of its features.

Why Disney Food Review? Well, we also enjoy watching Disney food vlogs, but we can’t help but notice that those same vlogs are always obsequiously positive. The food at Disney parks is very expensive, to be sure, but it’s definitely not always great. Disney World is much better in this regard, compared to Disneyland, but there is something intrinsically hilarious (at least to me) about fawning over mass produced fast-food that’s often served in a really pretentious fashion (at least for a theme park snack). Looking at fan photos on sites like TripAdvisor reveals that even happy patrons can struggle to make the most of what Disney gives them. The photos don’t lie!

Anyway, this was a fun experiment. We look forward to trying more of these in the future
