This map was pretty fun in terms of speedrunning it. it was also very simple and there were a lot of ways of doing it. I tried to get it fast paced, a lot of action and just overall over the top. This map is surreal and beautiful to look at if you pay close attention to the detail. Considering this is a Nanowadmo map, Vortale must've put extra care into making these maps, which is just something!
The strategy is to just grab the first secret, then run for the plasma staff. Then get the rocket launcher and nuke everything that's gathered up. Then grab the ssg, clear out that side but don't go near the final area yet. grab the blue key and then move on to the arch vile area.
Nuke the viles, the hell knights, revenants and pinkies and then focus your attention to the pain elemental. Depending how you approach it, you can plasma it or chainsaw it. I prefer chainsawing it because it saves mana for the final fight, which isn't too bad.
Nuke the arachnotron and try to get the hell knights, then clear everything with the plasma staff and look out for any stragglers. here you can get the last secret, which is tucked away behind an odd wall you can lower. This map looks menacing but do not play with the fire expecting to be burnt. You have the skills required to pull through, so just go for it and you'll make it out alive.
The next map I have already beaten, and lets just say it is something that actually gets pretty damn hard!
