Incredible! about 8 months later and i've shown that my skills have vastly improved when it comes to doom. A 6 second difference in this map is pretty phenomenal. It puts me ahead of some very skilled players in the leaderboards, pat on the back for that!

The run starts off similar to the first run i did, however I noticed that my luck with damage rolls was much better. I was pretty much eliminating most of the zombies in 2 shots. My movement has also improved significantly as I am now using meat shields in order to clear the area much faster.

The second part is getting the red key. Here is where something insane happens. I somehow managed to explode the central barrel (which is through entirely sheer luck) and that bounds the barrels into the hit-scanners roaming below, clearing them ALL out. This luck was ridiculous and idk how this had happened to me after not even attempting the map for more than an hour.

The final part is probably where things go slightly wrong. The chainsaw was ultimately useful and the plentiful ammo I had for the shotgun really helped me. But the final imp caused me to switch into the pistol (which was not intended) and caused me to lose as much as a whole second. Considering this map is very short, that's not great but nevertheless shows my patience and skill have both ascended slightly.

Before you question, no, I will not speedrun every map again individually. I was intending to do episode runs, but got extremely lucky for the map 1. So I decided to post this as a result of it. You'll probably see me upload the episode 1 uv-max just after this, maybe even a day later.
