Doom Wads/Mods #407:Man On The Moon
0https://www.doomworld.com/idgames/levels/doom2/Ports/m-o/motm We have liftoff folks, I've said it previously that I sometimes put wads aside for later as I'm trying to find a balance between cacoawards, runner ups, top 100, mods and more to form a season, I had previously planned to tackle this one last season, so it's time I give due to this runner up of the 2018 Cacowards by Yugiboy85, Who had appeared previously in MAYhem 2048 and Doomworld Mega Project 2013.
Man on the Moon was released on November 11th 2018, It's a massive massive space station on the surface of the moon, and it is CRAWLING with enemies, Special former humans that I recognized from Project Brutality, new chaingunners, an original enemy called the "Terminator", and more revenants than any single level pwad should have at once (in my opinion).
The map itself is well well textured, it feels like a actual space station along with the design looking well too, The overall difficulty is like Plutonia Experiment if you don't use caution and the ammo placement makes it seem like Man on the Moon was designed to be a combat puzzle, I haven't' finished this one yet, But still, This single level looks downright professional, Yugiboy85 certainly is a mapper to watch.
