1https://www.doomworld.com/idgames/levels/doom/d-f/eternity As we travel back to 1994, It's hard to believe that, the same year that Doom II released, We got the first ever TC which was Aliens and soon after our first wad which was based on a real location (Trinity.Wad), But now for the first wad in the top 100 wads of all time to be a sequel to a previous one, The overall 6th wad for 1994, I'm speaking of Eternity (Serenity II)
Authored by Bjorn Hermans and Holger Nathrath, This 8 level episode replacement for The Shores of Hell was released on November 7th 1994, It takes place after the events of Serenity, but for how old this wad is and it's overall feel, Eternity has some parts that feel more rough than what was seen in Serenity.
The mapping of Eternity has.. not aged well in some areas, Certainly Bjorn and Holger did make the maps look somewhat more detailed than in Serenity but you can see areas that look..very empty, The enemy placements alright but ammo placement is BAD in Eternity, Later maps I didn't even count but there's too many shotgunnes to deal with if you are down to just the pistol, I get Eternity is legendary but some relics sadly, are better left in the past.
