https://www.doomworld.com/idgames/levels/doom2/Ports/megawads/cchest3 What stands out for me in a Community project? Well, I seek out maps that have a flow to them between each level. The first two Community Chest wads had big examples of this, and examples of massive maps that test you to the limit with Magikal's Citadel at the Edge of Eternity and B.P.R.D.'s The Mucus Flow being the best example, CC3 has a lot of issues but its better than CC4.

Originally conceived as a Zdoom project by Andrew Stine, it was cancelled before being revived by Andy Leaver as a Boom project with 32 maps. Community Chest 3 was released on November 21rst 2007 and honored as a winner at that year's Cacoawards. The many issues hold it back but it's a guilty pleasure for me, so some of these issues may affect how others see the megawad.

None of the maps generally flow together and is a example of a community project that brings various ideas together without maps flowing together like Confinement Community Project. Most themes used are Techbase, outdoors, slime, and metal. The effort is there yes, It just took me a while to accept that there were no maps that had a continuation to the next map, There's some ammo issues but I think CC3 has aged better than the first two and it gives new appreciation for mappers like Use3D and Dutch Devil.
