It poses a challenge sometimes as the wad that precedes a sequel can be poor in my eyes, but I managed to not only forget about Rowdy Rudy's Revenge but find its sequel much better, This is also the final wad I personally selected for Season #13.

Released on November 7th 2020 and given a winner spot at that year's cacoawards, Rowdy Rudy II Powertrip is a 20 level megawad led by DoomKid with help from other Doomworld members including DavidN, RonnieJamesDiner, Matthew D, and Doom_Dude. It's story picks up 8 months after Rowdy Rudy's Revenge with government men breaking into Rowdy Rudy's house and giving him a assignment to shut down the UAC's criminal activity nearby, so it's time to take a trip, a Powertrip that is.

Rowdy Rudy II Powertrip has a lot of improvements that make it a lot better than the first wad, the weapon switching delay is almost non-existent and only takes a quarter of a second, The Bayonet from Rowdy Rudy's Revenge is among my most HATED weapons in a player made wad but here, I'm very grateful that DoomKid replaced it, Instead we bring our dukes up and pummel our enemies to paste with the old one two and the new Rifle we start with is more powerful than our single shot rifle from RR's Revenge.

Like other wads by DoomKid, The custom monsters and sounds are abundant with Zombiemen having several variants who have more HP than usual, about a shotgun blast to three shotgun blasts worth of HP, The weapons were changed to be more powerful which is REALLY helpful including the double bladed chainsaw which throws back to Doom 64, and our ammo balance has been extended, again, greatly thanking DoomKid and the rest for doing that.

The maps of RR II Powertrip are massive and well detailed there's always more than one way to approach a level's battles and the scenery adds to the maps, The only bad thing is the final map which felt somewhat cheap, and you'll need every ammo piece possible to clear it on higher skill levels but Damn, such as difference between the first wad and powertrip that it opens your eyes, It's another of my most played wads and It deserved it's cacoaward 100%.
