Doom Wads/Mods #495:Base Ganymede Complete

I followed this project from its beginning til it's final completion, a 3 episode megawad sprung from the mind of Khorus (Adam Woodmansey) who also did the Total Darkness series, Strife Absolute Order among other projects.
Originally begun in 2009, given a runner up slot in the 2010 cacoawards and honored as a winner at the 2012 cacoawards, Base Ganymede Complete is the entire package of 3 episodes in one megawad, There's not really a story but our entire mission happens on the moon named Ganymede that circles Juptier, hellspawn are swarming all over UAC facilities here and its time to send them back where they came from.
Firstly do not walk into Base Ganymede thinking that its going to be easy, that is the one mistake that will lay you low as Khorus designed Base Ganymede Complete to be a intense experience, you will deal with a lot of teleport traps, trap walls, ambushes and various other twists that'll show to you that this isn't just a normal megawad for Ultimate Doom (not that any megawads made by players are just normal megawads)
Ammo can be problem if you do not use it carefully and use infighting, some parts are very tricky due to relentless hitscanner fire and *diabolical* imp placement, There is no doom 2 monsters here but Khorus places mean amounts of enemies to delay a escape to the exit or to a much needed key, some are so suffocating tough you'd better hope you have the ammo to fight your way out, It can get harsh yeah, but I think Base Ganymede Complete gives new challenges to those already adapt in Ultimate Doom, and those who want a real challenge, especially on Ultra Violence.
