https://www.doomworld.com/idgames/levels/doom2/Ports/0-9/100lines Again sometimes I'll underestimate a wad because of reviews I read thinking it'll be easy, and with Doom 2 In Spain Only and Auger Zenith last year in Season #12, I learned real quick that overconfidence will bring you down harshly and I again learned that lesson with this megawad, one of two actually that I selected as you know, I can't seem to avoid slaughterwads in anyway but, I at least can bring the focus to them.

100 Lines is actually 2 megawads and was released on August 16th 2013, The project was led by Adam Windsor (of Doom 404 fame) and a massive all-star team working on a traditional and a non traditional megawad of 32 maps using only 100 linedefs and the stock Doom II textures, I chose the 100 N wad for non traditional as its more akin to slaughterwads, and when I say slaughterwads I mean it to the T.

Sure, the maps of the non traditional wad may look a bit cramped or questionable texture usage in some and (also questionable midis like Sir Mix-A-Lot's Baby Got Back) for Map02, But they have bite and contains some intense monster placement, But also 100 Lines is well generous with ammo, though health in 100 Lines N is not as forgiving but what do expect from maps from the likes of Ribbiks, Demonologist, Jean-Claude Dorne and so forth?

The last chapter of 100 Lines N is where you may or may not break as it reminds me heavily of the Slaughterfest trilogy and also Swift Death, Enemy placement so thick that my FPS was dropping to nearly 10 and almighty above was it a pain to get through the thick of it, I haven't completed it yet but I will eventually, I'd recommend this one to the veterans who know the pain of Scythe II's late maps and the searing pain of Plutonia Experiment.
