No one knows what its like, to be the bad man.. the sad man. I've been on the hunt for survival games and rarely has one caught my attention like Hobo Tough Life, whereas most of the games in survival are FPS/RTS/or even Horror, this one surprised me after seeing it for sale on both Steam and on the PS Store, A survival RPG.

Hobo Tough Life goes back to July 2017, a official release in August 2021, Xbox getting a port on September 1rst 2022, and PlayStation getting a ps4 port on February the 22nd 2023. The story follows the fictional city of Praslav in Eastern Europe following the collapse of the Soviet Union, Democracy may be coming to those who were behind the Iron curtain, but for others? Its a struggle to survive even 1 day, and in this game? You play as a homeless person, unsure if you'll survive the coming winter.

Played from a first person perspective, the game's story will give you quests as you speak to important characters in the city of Praslav. The main thing is survival as its modeled based on realism: As winter is coming, any rain will soak you and being outside in the cold without warmth will make you sick, drinking too much will make it impossible to talk to other people and make you sick, and like in real life you can't survive without food and sleep.

A expansive crafting and shelter system will let you construct a shelter to survive in, in addition to having a fire barrel to keep warm in, You'll learn this skill in addition to stealing/dumpster diving/charisma and more as you interact with the world around you. Crime too is rampant as you'll be robbed by thugs at times, and you can choose to steal or beg which doesn't always work, and combat is a last resort as you won't always win every fight, I generally enjoyed this game though I was suffering a death which led to my health being reduced for good by 10 points a lot, I find it a solid 30 dollar purchase and Trophy hunters won't really struggle as much on it.
