Doom Wads/Mods #625:Ultimate Simplicity
https://doomwiki.org/wiki/Simplicity Back to the basics, Go with the flow and don't hold no regrets. Looking back to the early/mid 2000's, It was a different time for Doom when we were talking about Doom 3, The DooM movie and how PS2/Xbox/Gamecube were all new at the time. Just a snapshot of what was once a time, that we'll never forget.
Originally released in 2005 and given a winner spot at the 2005 Cacoawards, This is a updated version of the original wad. Ultimate Simplicity is by Melissa McGee (Agent Spork), Releasing on September 7th 2007 and is a 21 level megawad of speedmaps while also remaining close to vanilla as possible with additional Zdoom source port features, new custom enemies and weapons from Rise of the Triad.
Ultimate Simplicity is a unique type of Source port required Megawad: Agent Spork, to me, In my opinion put together this megawad to give a challenge to the battle hardened veterans of Doom II and TNT Evilution/Plutonia Experiment without any interest of smothering the player but laying the pressure just right. The bonus levels are the real treat though, It reminds me of Scythe II's Industrial/UAC Bases episodes with extra heat, A solid wad all around and a surprise gem.
