Doom Wads/Mods #626:Intergalatic Xenology

Ever since I've gone over Skillsaw's Ancient Aliens, I've become fascinated by how many wads are being influenced by it and the unusual colors/textures of it, and thats where my turn my focus to this runner up of the 2020 Cacoawards.
Authored by the duo of Lord_Z and Dreadopp, and released on May 5th 2020, Intergalatic Xenology is a 5 level wad that uses Ancient Alien textures along with 5 searing tracks from Jimmy, Blastfrog, and Tristian Clark to set the mood. These 5 maps are a mix between Doom II and Scythe Difficulty with a lot of hiscanners and mid tier enemies among others but also, very creative ambushes and traps that give the wad its edge. Last map is just.. perfect, I'd say its the most impressive space inspired Doom wad I've played in a while.
