Officials and civilians in the city of Dresden have been reacting to news of the Bomber Command Memorial's unveiling.

During the Second World War, British bombers dropped more than 5000 tonnes of high explosives on the city.

Originally, there was some objection to the memorial, but now it has been dedicated, the mood has changed.
