The Duke of Edinburgh has presented soldiers from the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers with their Afghanistan campaign medals at a ceremony in Yorkshire.

The Duke landed at Catterick Garrison by helicopter, to spend the day with 1 Close Support Battalion REME, of which he is Colonel in Chief.
