The Archbishop of York has told British Forces News that he feels the loss of every British soldier killed in combat personally .

Dr John Sentamu was speaking after 750 soldiers from the 4th Mechanised Brigade held a service of Remembrance and thanksgiving to mark their completetion of Herrick 17 in Afghansitan.

The loved ones of soldiers killed during the deployment also attended the service in York Minster today.
