As the closure of Britain's military base at Rheindahlen in Germany approaches, teachers and one old pupil of a former forces secondary school have paid what is likely to be a final visit. Kent School in Waldniel operated from 1963 to 1990 but is now largely derelict. The site near Britain's Rheindahlen military base went into private ownership after it was returned to the German authorities in 1991, and has been left largely abandoned.
