Mayu wasn't a heavy girl, you could wrap your thumb and finger over her arm but her clumsy dead weight feel in her half asleep state made it hard for Snake to even walk in a straight line.
"Come on Mayu you've gotta work with me here, can you walk?"
Snake tried to encourage some cooperation out of his sister but it was no good, it was like dragging a corpse. He managed to balance his sister's weight on his shoulder as he reached out for the door, sliding it open. The room's lighting was horrible, flickering on and off, briefly leaving the twins in strobe like darkness. This wasn't good. Snake could barely stand in his current condition with out the encumbering sister and now he couldn't see. In the midst of his burst of sight, Snake saw something sprawled along the floor in front of him. Knowing there was no way he could take on anything with his sister lugged over his shoulder, he carefully rested her down against the wall and went to inspect the lump of mass.
At first it was just a mess of an image, nothing distinct, no features to identify it. As he got closer, with the strobe of light in time with his footsteps, he jumped back at what me saw. It was a woman. So broken, snapped and deformed that he didn't even suspect it to be a person. Her hair was untamed, black and eerily long, covering most of her mangled corpse like a blanket. Before he could reach for his camera, the light went out for longer than normal. The sound of shuffling and cracking bones was all he could hear. Then the light came back on...
