Standing up after closing the small door left a sharp twinge in Snake's back. He was young and able but this village's atmosphere had a way of aging its visitors, even that child didn't speak like a normal kid, experience and wisdom resonated from his words. He arched his posture backwards and carried on through the path in the village, on the look out for the small statues.

The only sound in the village was gravel grinding beneath Snake's feet with each step he took. He was very conscious of the sound, it subtly scared him, he couldn't help but think he was disturbing the dead silence through out the area. He took out a piece of paper and roughly drew a map of where he'd been so far, marking areas of interest. The task occupied his mind though he couldn't escape the fact he was scared, worried and unsure of what will happen in the near future.

"Dammit Mayu..."

Snake continued on down the road, carefully swaying his torch left and right hoping to find one of the statues. He was making his way more and more in to the woods and he knew it. A statue stood in the distance, it's silhouette stood out among the leafy green around it. With a slight sense of renewed hope he ran toward the stone deity, until he stopped dead in his tracks from a voice behind him.

"I've found you..."
