The stench of decay was overwhelming, it was clear what ever was on the other side of this door, Snake wouldn't like it. Still, grasping the side of the door and taking a moment to compose his mind after the horrible smell set off his imagination to all kinds of horrors, he threw the door back. The nauseating smell had gone, the door opened to a regular looking traditional room, except for one clear irregularity. There was a noose suspended from the ceiling. Just looking at it made the skin on his neck tighten up. gently touching his throat, Snake made his way in to the center of the room. The boy said Mayu would be here, but then again he referred to Snake as Yae so Snake couldn't rely too much on his direction. But there was that noose again... Snake looked up at it, something so abnormal never fails to pique the curiosity of the inquistive. Snake reached out for the noose, in this village, the more senses you could use to interact with something, the more certain you could be that it was real.

The moment Snake's finger tips met the rough rope the room drastically changed. What little colour appeared out of the darkness was consumed and replaced with grey. scarred, beaten bodies littered the floor and a ear piercing cry of laughter shattered Snake's composure. He turned to face the repentance and hell's rejection...
