First chapter that can be warpskipped, which can even result in a 1-turn clear in this challenge. How would that work? Clarine has Warp access upon promoting (which he did as soon as she joined) but her range is too short to warp Karel to the throne room because of her tiny magic stat. If Karel travels to the lower-right corner of the place where we start and gets danced there, Clarine can indeed warp him to the throne room, and the bosskilling wouldn't be tough for Karel at all, considering his strength, skill and speed statistics. The dancers would then dance each other to travel all the way across the map to give Karel his second dance, allowing him to seize after doing all the 'fighting' on his own.

That's what I would do for an easy 1-turn strat, but there's one problem with this - a bunch of warpskip chapters are coming up shortly and Clarine does need to have a progressively higher magic stat for each subsequent one, and giving her only the experience from using Warp once here leaves it unsatisfactory. As a result, she ends up being fed the Berserker on this map and faces a bunch of other enemies for experience.

One particular feature Clarine bears is that, while she doubles just about everything that moves aside from a couple bosses, her damage is really underwhelming, so she won't be ORKOing anything for a very long time even with consistent mag procs. Her low tome rank when promoting also means Fire is all she can use until she gets 50 weapon exp in tomes.

Luckily, Clarine does grow and she grows very quickly from combat and kills because Valkyrie is one of the classes with accelerated experience growth (Bishop is another one). Her reliable dodgetanking also means you can leave her exposed to enemies who are close to OHKOing her and expect her to emerge unscathed. This allows us to work around her initially low magic as long as invest the necessary effort.

Now, the advantage to the 2-turn strategy is not only levelling Clarine up but also saving the Warp use for later on, as there's more than enough time to move Karel to the boss, dance him and have him seize. Miledy and Zeiss largely miss out on self-improvement opportunities however, in spite of all the promoted enemies lurking close to the throne room - all because Clarine must get her mag level-up.

Karel gets the bosskill with ease, wielding just an Iron Sword, and his level-up sees him cap his strength stat. That's the strongest Karel will ever get, but starting out with D swords without many opportunities to engage enemies in combat to raise it early on means he's still quite a bit away from A swords needed to wield more powerful blades like Silver Swords, let alone stuff like the Durandal, which I'm not sure we'll ever be able to reach on this run. Hopefully, his crit potential alone will be sufficient to do the necessary combat - we'll see what happens, we'll see.

So that's how that is.
