There may be actions that are done for practical purpose or for no particular purpose in the playthrough; the mandatory actions done in this episode are the following and they can be used as a guide (note that during this playthrough, certain actions can only be done during a short period of time and others can be postponed; note also that there is the possibility I may have missed events like dialogue replacement, sprite change, additional scenes and so on, since those are not generally considered as goals and are not documented at all):
* Enter the Qu's Marsh of Donna Plains to mark it in the world map (timecode: 03:25).
* Watch the ATE "Vivi and the Couple" (timecode: 08:57).
* Obtain 2700 Gil (timecode: 09:18).
* Talk to Jenny Greeter (timecode: 09:21).
* Watch the ATE "Quina Accused" (timecode: 09:36).
* Talk to Robert Dogherder (timecode: 09:55).
* Watch the ATE "Quina Can't Communicate" (timecode: 10:20).
* Obtain 1800 Gil (timecode: 10:40).
* Watch the ATE "Dagger and William" (timecode: 11:04).
* Talk to Darcy Skywatcher (timecode: 11:30).
* Talk to Bryan Rootrunner (timecode: 11:37).
* Talk to John Fruitbringer (timecode: 11:51).
* Accept to take the letter from Mogmatt to Suzunna (timecode: 12:33).
* Obtain a Phoenix Pinion (timecode: 11:56).
* Read Father David's note (timecode: 12:49).
* Obtain a Diamond (timecode: 13:02).
* Watch the ATE "Hungry Bryan" (timecode: 13:30).
* Talk to Derek Stonehammer (timecode: 13:48).
* Give two Ores to the friendly Ladybug (timecode: from 22:48 to 23:00).
* Answer 6 Pop quiz questions correctly (timecode: from 26:35 to 37:30).
* Watch the ATE "Everyday Life" (timecode: 42:52).
* Watch the ATE "Gourmand's Nose" (timecode: 43:29).
* Obtain an Ether (timecode: 43:50).
* Watch the ATE "Life Cycle" (timecode: 44:26).
* Accept to take the letter from Mogryo to Mocchi (timecode: 44:54).
* Obtain a copy of Gysahl Greens (timecode: 45:04).
* Watch the ATE "Life On The Run" (timecode: 45:11).
* Obtain an Elixir (timecode: 45:45).
* Talk to Black Mage No. 239 (timecode: 45:50).
* Obtain the Virgo (timecode: 47:15).
* read the description of the key item "Virgo" (timecode: 47:23).
* Watch the ATE "Visitor, Not Invader" (timecode: 47:38).
* Trigger the scene with Garnet at the synthesis shop (timecode: 48:03).
* Obtain 2000 Gil (timecode: 48:22).
* Watch the ATE "Different Language" (timecode: 48:27).
* Obtain 843 Gil (timecode: 49:09).
* Talk to Black Mage No. 288 (timecode: 51:08).
* Refuse Garnet's automatic proposition to rest (timecode: 52:02).
* Leave the inn to replace the sprites (timecode: 52:20).
* Accept to rest by talking to Garnet instead of the innkeeper (I did this just in case because it makes Zidane say an extra line IIRC but I do not think this meets the requirements of the challenge; timecode: 52:54).
* Read the letter from Stiltzkin to Mogryo with Mogryo (timecode: 55:34).
* Talk to Black Mage No. 189 (timecode: 56:11).
* Eavesdrop the conversation about the synthesis shop's name (it can be left for Disc 4 to hear a slightly different version in which a genome reacts to the conversation instead of Zidane; timecode: 56:35).

Extra info/corrections/comments on this episode:
* Obtaining Madain's Ring through the excavation game is not a requirement since unlimited copies can apparently be obtained.
* I do not consider this among the requirements of triggering unique dialogue changes, but I will leave obtaining the Black Belt in the items shop for Disc 3 while having the Hilda Garde 3, in order to make Black Mage No.163 says 4 different dialogues:
- Dialogue 1 (Disc 2): Black Mage No.163 says "Um, welcome! Can I help you?" and offers 3 choices like shown at 43:54 (including "the usual" one).
- Dialogue 2 (Disc 3): BM#163 says "...Welcome." and offers 3 choices (including "the usual" one).
- Dialogue 3 (Disc 3): BM#163 says "...Welcome." and offers only 2 choices after obtaining the Black Belt.
- Dialogue 4 (Disc 4): BM#163 says "Um, welcome! Can I help you?" (the same line as in Disc 2) but offers only 2 choices.
* One of the two actions below must be done to make "the usual" option available:
- Watching the ATE "Everyday Life" (the choice I did).
- Eavesdropping a conversation about "the usual" (only if the ATE is missed and only in Disc 2).
* Obtaining the Black Belt in the items shop makes "the usual" option unavailable.
