Gargan Roo is a very simple segment, just get the two treasures and set up the party for battle. Dagger's equipment is already done from a few videos ago, but Steiner needs the Silver Gloves. Marcus can be optimized, then equipping a Wrist and Yellow Scarf. If you have an extra Chain Plate, then it's ok if Marcus has it on. Steiner also needs HP+10% in place of Bird Killer and a Potion used on him afterwards.

IF you are fortunate, you will get a full round of attacks in before Ralvurahva retaliates, but more importantly attack with Steiner first to have a chance at an additional counter-attack. It's not necessary but it will make for a faster battle.

Cleyra is nothing but picking up treasures and avoiding encounters! However, Vivi and Freya need to be prepared for the Antion battle BEFORE you set foot in the Cleyra Settlement, because they will leave the party and is stuck with what they have until the battle is over! Zidane can and should be set up now as well.

This is the first big dose of AP gains towards some key abilities we'll need later...For Vivi, you can leave the Oak Staff on, if you want to understand why the setup was with the Ice Staff, the Antlion description will explain that.

Since you have to use Antlion's sandpit to reach the Magician Shoes and Silk Robe, split the treasure gathering beyond Monev into two parts, getting the Flame Staff out of the way works best, then getting the rest on the return trip. Once you have the Silk Robe, you can optimize Quina now, or before the fight with Antlion. Quina's setups will be listed in the next video.
