By optimizing Quina, you should get the following without having to re-activate Millionaire:

Needle Fork, Mage's Hat, Bone Wrist, Silk Robe, Yellow Scarf

I saved picking up the Phoenix Pinion at the entrance since you cannot get past soldier Dan anyway.

For the Antlion battle, there are two ways to win, either have Antlion use Sandstorm to lower Quina's HP to 1 so Limit Glove will work, or have Freya and Vivi do the deed themselves. I personally recommend the former since it is the fastest way to victory, although you have a 1 in 3 chance that Sandstorm will be the first attack and then a 10% chance that Quina will be at 1 HP after the fact. It didn't take too many tries for me but that is my luck!

If by some stroke of good fortune you steal the Gold Helm, keep it! Steiner needs it for Ark on Disc 3, plus it saves you the most gil compared to stealing the Mythril Vest. Just account for that when you by Mythril Vests later at the BMV.

The latter just takes longer and then Antlion can still get an attack in and mess everything up anyway. In the end, everyone needs to survive for AP purposes.

Key abilities learned: Protect Girls (Zidane)

Protect Girls is critical for the Iifa Tree so now the Butterfly Sword and Leather Shirt has served their purpose.
