The last video before the final battles.

We beat the rest of the Warring Triad, Fiend first and then Goddess.

Fiend, in his first phase, relies on ice-elemental attacks in addition to physicals, so Ice Shield is a must. If you are frozen, pray that he heals you more than he hurts you. His criticals do pretty strong damage, so that's not exactly easily achieved. There's no way to prevent Locke from being frozen.

When he uses the tech that sends you to the back row, just stay there. We're about to deal enough damage to make him enter his second form, in which only physical attacks are used, one of them being an instant-KO. Once he begins targeting Locke in this phase, have him Defend to take less damage.

I equipped Black Belt hoping for many counterattacks, but it hardly worked.

When his aura starts shaking, he has gained Reflect, Haste and Image. We don't care much about Reflect, but Haste makes him offensively more dangerous, whereas Image raises more trouble for hitting him. Locke isn't allowed to know Dispel, so all we can do is keep attacking until Image is cancelled (25% chance, I think, could be wrong). I switched from Ice Shield to Genji Shield in this phase, first of all, to have better physical defences and, secondly, not to gain any Magic Points.

After defeating Fiend, I left the tower, bet the Ragnarok for the Lightbringer and uncursed the Cursed Shield.

Goddess is annoyingly hard due to the use of the most awful statuses. Even with Ribbon & Safety Bit, Locke can just be charmed and beat himself to death. After a couple dozen attempts, I figured Dragonboots & Dragon Horn combo is the only way to go.

I got my HP as low as I could in random encounters in that area, and just Jumped her to death. I took the Paladin's Shield off not to gain any MP. I also got a bit lucky, both with jumping and the boss's AI. Valient Knife + low HP + Dragon Horn jumping = dead Goddess quickly.
