Welcome one and all to this special 12-hour, 12-part speedrun challenge that happens to be the most difficult achievement in one of my favorite JRPGs of all time: Final Fantasy IX, as well as one of the most grueling sidequests in the FF series as a whole.

Today we set out on our arduous journey as we breeze through the game's prologue, which includes the play at Alexandria, kidnapping Princess Garnet, and escaping from Evil Forest. I was afraid that the plant boss would be my first roadblock, but it didn't really give me that much trouble.
