Honestly, I never would've thought that a game I initially couldn't play well at all, would become one of my most appreciated JRPGs. In fact, this game's god-tier soundtrack alone (mainly battle themes) is what made me want to go out and buy it many years ago. Near the end of 2022, Square Enix released a well-polished remaster of Minstrel Song that I very much enjoyed. This final battle is the crowning achievement of nearly 200 hours spent accumulating my stature as Mardias' champion.
