Welcome one and all to this special 12-hour, 12-part speedrun challenge that happens to be the most difficult achievement in one of my favorite JRPGs of all time: Final Fantasy IX, as well as one of the most grueling sidequests in the FF series as a whole.

Today we cut through Esto Gaza and enter down into Mount Gulug to save Eiko and free Lady Hilda from Kuja's captivity. Then make our way to Ipsen's Castle to acquire the 4 elemental mirrors of Terra. Now I don't know what I equipped on Vivi, but whatever it was, it saved my ass against those dragons. The castle is pretty straightforward, as you can just skip everything and go right up to the boss
