Welcome one and all to this special 12-hour, 12-part speedrun challenge that happens to be the most difficult achievement in one of my favorite JRPGs of all time: Final Fantasy IX, as well as one of the most grueling sidequests in the FF series as a whole.

Today we opt out of the festival of the hunt and make haste toward Gizamaluke's Grotto, recruiting Quina and learning a very useful ability along the way. Then it's off to trashing some black mages and making quick work of Gizamaluke himself. Meanwhile, Steiner and Garnet take a trip back to Alexandria
