Final Fantasy 9 | Excalibur II Run (PART 9)
0Welcome one and all to this special 12-hour, 12-part speedrun challenge that happens to be the most difficult achievement in one of my favorite JRPGs of all time: Final Fantasy IX, as well as one of the most grueling sidequests in the FF series as a whole.
Today we do a bit of fast level-grinding before going to infiltrate Kuja's underground castle. Of course we get captured instantly, and split up into 2 parties. One sent to Oeilvert, and the other left to die, if not for Cid and his questionable red light-green light skills that helps them escape. My reflexes aren't what they used to be and I should've been able to get the hourglass key a lot easier. Other than that, the Desert Palace is simple enough if you have it memorized. Safe travel helps too
