Honestly I am impressed I found so many secrets, from hidden passages that turning off encounters and using maps (tapping on switch maps gives a treasure counter in the dungeon) helps, to seeing how Ultima works best with double shields (going full circle) as it ignores magic interference and defense (rotate spells every battle withbyour top most character who has Ultima to quickly get with boost everything else around level 4).
I have holy on Firion through the old Mysidia trick as well as you can get it early if not instantly killed. Glad to have closure and not rely on cheese blood sword (ripper ignores defense for a small amount, and poison axe does better poison damage per turn to actually kill, without draining) or using tomes as items.
Leon doesn't have spells (I confused in my gba hack that buffed him to make ultima playable even without boost), but the items are easier to use, as they won't buff his levels.
Surprisingly, the ancient sword and poison axe can curse and poison the final boss to take doubke damage and 973 hp per turn, with berserk, aura and Haste buffs, so Leon can simply just do that instead of magic, which my Ultima did 1600.
