Final Fantasy Tactics Magic Challenge is easy mode, and Leave my Reraise sister Alma alone, Ultima
This game is pure trial and error, let alone no idea why these slow lucavi (lol rend speed with Excalibur’s strength and haste is accurate enough that Marach is a playable knight even without dual wield). On that note, making Delita and Argath magic knights will have them survive their foolish charges given the hp boost and range.
I feel slow seeing that now, by all means play anything else given the game is only challenging due to unplayable setup (like rend outside weapon/speed), and using magic only will unlock the arithmeticians to auto win easier than chapter 1 no 2nd turns as casting is faster than everyone with low hp) with math skill, or even use soulbind to cut damage in half and bounce it to opponent.
The Mime could probably copy all of this without needing quick, though is too tedious to unlock before chapter 3 or 4 (and every playthrough, like Dark Knight). Though for jump, they don't stay in midair and only copy the landing.
Before these 2 you can use 450 jp to set up arcane strength with a basic fire spell, or go time mages for swiftness (helps Odin/flame rod buffed Salamander's extra range), teleport, graviga and mana shield (with mystic's manafont) way faster than going ninja/samurai. Summoning Golem will protect in story battles vs humans (but not vs monsters, though you will maximize jp spillover with those magic jobs, or Ramza as a squire to get JP Boost for everyone as well as buff special jobs as he has good magic attack, while guaranteed bravery steel buffs for monks chapter 2).
I am speechless with how dumb the final boss is attacking Alma with a regular attack (and she revives herself) when Dragoon Ramza can do 900 damage with a doublehand Javelin II from a Nelveska temple column to climb a monster which chocobos won’t let you use treasure hunter when mounting. They do have ignore elevation and I updated the fandom for useless dragoon abilities https://finalfantasy.fandom.com/wiki/Dragoon_(Tactics)
Doublehand won’t work with jump (recommend 5 horizontal and 3 vertical given you’ll get someone every turn even when under maximum 8 tiles) but 999 is damage cap. Equip polearms is another useless ability since only dragoons can combine it with doublehand (and Samurai’s will spam iaido to do area of effect with katanas.
