This is a paralogue that I am not looking forward to doing, and there is a reason for this. I take on Leif's paralogue, and it is located at Bridges in a Row, and this is a place familiar to Leif, and he puts Alear to the test. What makes this paralogue difficult is the Mage Knights and the Ballistae that deal a lot of damage when used.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

Here we are, this is Leif's paralogue, and this is one of the hardest battles in the game. This map is based on Chapter 22 of Fire Emblem: Thracia 776, and Leif is used in place of a certain Mage Knight who became infamous in the early days of Fire Emblem Heroes. The music for this map is Trial of the Genealogy, this is a remix of In Search of the Victory from Fire Emblem: Thracia 776, and that game was never released outside of Japan.
Another reason why I don't like this paralogue is because the Ballistae on this map deal a lot of damage, but at least they have three uses, even the most defensive of units, like Goldmary for example, will take a huge hit from those Ballistae. There are four Lance Fighters that will escape, the only ones worth getting are the Speedwing and Silence, the best way is to have a unit with Entrap bring them there, then have Seadall use Dance on the unit to use Entrap to bring the other Lance Fighter there, or use Astra Storm to take out one of the Lance Fighters.
There are reinforcements that will appear continuously, those are the Paladins that will come in, and this map has some High Priests that will use Freeze, Silence, and Fracture, you will want to bring Restore to cure them if they get affected by those effects.
Once you cross the bridge, Leif will then destroy it, and this is when he starts moving, but there are lot of Mage Knights, if you have them lined up, you can have a unit equipped with Sigurd remove them with Override with the Ridersbane. As with Leif, the only unit aside from Alear that he has dialogue with is Ivy, this is because in Chapter 8 when Ivy first appeared, Leif was the Emblem that was equipped to her. Leif has Light Brand, a sword that deals magic damage and boosts Luck by 10 when equipped, the Master Lance is like the Brave Lance, because it strike twice consecutively, and the Killer Axe has a high crit rate, Leif has that on Hard, if you are playing on Normal, he does not have the Killer Axe. Adaptable has Leif automatically swap weapon to the most effective, making him a challenging opponent, engage attacks are the best way to fight him. He does have Arms Shield, where he takes 7 less damage if he has the weapon triangle advantage, but it will always activate because of Adaptable, and Vantage has him strike first if his HP is below 75% and foe initiates combat.
After completing the paralogue, this increases the maximum Bond Level to 20, and for skills you can get from Leif, most of them are upgrades to previous skills. Vantage has some upgrades, the first one is at Bond Level 12, and this activates at 50% or less, while the second upgrade is at Bond Level 18, and this activates at 75% of less. Knife Precision has some upgrades, 3 is at Bond Level 13, 4 is at Bond Level 17, and 5 is at Bond Level 19. Build+5 at Bond Level 14 can be good for allowing units to equip heavier weapons, like the S Rank weapons you can pick up in the last few chapters, there is an upgrade to Arms Shield at Bond Level 16 where unit takes 7 less damage if they have a weapon triangle advantage. At Bond Level 15 is Light Brand, which deals magic damage, boosts Luck by 10, and can strike close or at range. Vantage can be good to pick up on units like Panette, specially if you pair it with Wrath from Ike, and Knife Precision can help units like Yunaka or Veyle which use knives, as the extra avoid can help them with dodging enemy attacks.
The rest of the video, there isn't much to go over, as it is mostly exploring the Somniel, and doing activities and viewing support conversations.
