While we did win the Battle at Gronder, many things happened, Rodrigue is dead, and Dimitri is back to his normal self. With everyone back to what it once was, it is time to set off to Fhirdiad and take it back from a woman named Cornelia, now with Dimitri back to his senses.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

We might have been successful in stopping Claude and Edelgard back at Gronder Field, but we ended up losing Rodrigue to that girl who we found in the previous chapter, and then Dimitri is now back to his senses.
At this point, Dimitri can now go back to having support conversations, taking part in activites, and other things he wasn't able to do during that time. While Dimitri does still hold a grudge against the Empire, he is willing to help us out in taking back Fhirdiad from Cornelia.
If you talk to some of the units, they mention different things, like the Battle at Gronder, Fhirdiad, and other things, one example is Lorenz, who enrolled in the school of magic in Fhirdiad, which was where Mercedes and Annette studied at, because I remember when you talk to Mercedes when you first explore the Monastery, she does say that Lorenz was an attendant at the school of magic as well, and it's not just Lorenz that brings up the school or sorcery, Hanneman even talk about it as well.
Speaking of the Battle at Gronder, when Claude sent his entire Alliance Army against us back then, it turned out to be a huge mistake on his end, and it resulted in his troops taking serious damage, and while we did fight Lorenz back at the Great Bridge of Myrdinn, and if we didn't recruit any Golden Deer units, then we would have fought almost everyone except for Marianne, and by the way, if you are wondering, you don't ever fight Marianne in the timeskip on any route.
Another thing I didn't add in the description is that both Edelgard and Claude would have had unique battle dialogue if you let Byleth or Dimitri fight them, and as for their weapons, Aymr is exclusive to Crimson Flower, and while Claude does have Failnaught on Verdant Wind, I will keep that a mystery, because I don't want to spoil the later chapters on the Azure Moon route.
If you talk to one of the NPC in the Monastery, they will talk about Fhirdiad being affected by some disease, or like a plague had struck the capital, and Cornelia was the woman who had saved Faerghus's capital, Sylvain explains that story back in Chapter 8, and the disease that affect Fhirdiad is like a virus of some sort, not like it has affected the world during 2020.
As for the other routes, after this point in the game, Azure Moon has different maps and battles to Verdant Wind and Silver Snow, while the first half up to Gronder Field was on each of the three routes, while Crimson Flower had a completely different storyline to the others, I don't want to go too far into spoilers, specially on the other routes.
In the previous parts where I said in the description that Rodrigue could have been a playable unit for the Azure Moon route, and he would have been recruited after Chapter 15, turns out he only lasted two chapters, so his usage would be limited, but then again Azure Moon has been a bit rough with their exclusive units, not only did we have Dimitri's vengeful nature from Chapters 13 to 17, and we couldn't do anything with him, Dedue missing out on four chapters because we thought he was dead, and if you didn't do his paralogue, he dies for real, and Gilbert only being available in the timeskip, and this is even the only route where you can obtain the Hero's Relic Crusher, but aside from that, the one thing I like about Azure Moon is that you can recruit nearly the entire cast of playable units on this route, the only exceptions are Edelgard, Hubert, and Claude, but I will go more into detail when I get to the near end of that route.
