Fort Solis | One-Minute Game Review
27I think this may be the first time I’ve ever played a video game purely because of the voice actors. But when a game stars the two actors behind my favorite video game characters. I have to give it a try.
Today’s One-Minute game review is on Fort Solis.
Fort Solis is basically an interactive sci-fi mystery movie. And it stars two of video game's biggest names.
Roger Clark, the voice of Arthur from Red Dead Redemption 2 and Troy Baker, the voice of Joel from The Last of Us are both main characters.
And the acting is in Fort Solis straight up incredible - these are masters of their craft.
The game is set on Mars, and the environment is stunning.
Unfortunately, the gameplay is not only not good, it’s almost non-existent - and it’s such a shame.
There are some interactables and a few QTE’s, but most of the gameplay is just walking, and the walking is PAINFULLY slow.
It takes what could be a decent cinematic experience and turns it into a frustrating, slow-paced slog that wastes the talents of an incredible cast.
The cinematic presentation is great, but ultimately, I can only recommend Fort Solis to the most patient and forgiving of gamers.
