Dark License to Kill Fast Animation (DLTK FA) is a step above DLTK in difficulty. As in regular DLTK, you maximize the enemy statistics in 007 mode:

Enemy health: 1000%
Enemy damage: 1000%
Enemy accuracy: 100%
Enemy reaction speed: 100%

In addition, you turn on the Fast Animation cheat. This cheat makes enemies move at several times their usual speed. Under these conditions, the game is much harder than in regular DLTK, and some levels seem nearly impossible.

Frigate is a very fun level to play in DLTK FA. It might seem daunting because there are lots of guards and you start with only 20 ammo, but there are a few mitigating factors:

Because the hostages have 1000% health, they can survive being "executed".

You start with the Silenced D5K, which allows you to kill guards quickly and without making much noise.

There are a fair number of objects that you can blow up in order to kill guards.

There are many paths through the level and many out-of-the-way places to lure guards to. This lets you lure a bunch of guards somewhere, then avoid them.

Luring guards with Fast Animation on is somewhat unreliable. The sped-up guards struggle to handle narrow passages and turns, of which there are many in Frigate. Thus, the amount of time it takes for guards to reach their destinations varies greatly. For this reason, I spend some time standing around to allow the guards to move. The hangar is a convenient place to wait because the guards rarely go there.

I played on the Japanese version because it has a couple body armors that, in the US version, are only present on lower difficulties. Near the bridge, there's a half BA. It doesn't let me survive a Phantom shot, but it does protect me from a D5K shot. Later, I pick up a full BA from the ammo room next to the pipes. The full BA lets me survive a hit from either the Phantom or the D5K. For some reason, the full BA is invisible.
