Galaxian Famicom / NES CRT TV Playthrough asmr
3Released 9/7/84, Galaxian for Famicom is a solid port of the first ever color arcade game originally released in 1979. Expanding on the formula for Space Invaders, Galaxian would lay the groundwork for its more popular successor Galaga. Battling wave after wave of aliens, the Galaxip must aim carefully as each shot must connect or reach the top of the screen before another shot can be fired. The improvements in sound and color make this port arguably better than the original. Though there is no music in-game, there is a hidden tune which you can unlock (see Shorts).
I am considering a playthrough to be beating the Hi-Score. I played on an original NES with a Game Genie adapter (see Shorts) to allow for playing a Famicom cartridge. I am using a NES Advantage controller, RCA cables, and a Sharp X-Flat 27" CRT TV.
