This is a video of Garry's Mod 9 running on an Intel Mac in a Cider (Cedega for Mac) wrapper. Garry's Mod is a physics sandbox game using the models and engine of Valve's Half-Life 2, allowing players to pose and manipulate characters and objects from the game, as well as 3rd-party addons. Garry's Mod 9 is the latest version of the game that works in Cider, though you can play Garry's Mod 10 and 11 to some extent using CrossOver Games. All credit for the Mac port of GMOD 9 goes to thedoctor45.

On my Mac, which is running OS X 10.5 "Leopard", I have some minor issues with the game. For one thing, as you will notice in the video, the fonts in the menus are much too big and therefore cannot be fully seen, making them hard to navigate. This only seems to happen in widescreen resolutions. Another issue is that killing some certain enemies with certain weapons, and sometimes switching to certain weapons, crashes the game with a "Virtual Function Call" error. Otherwise, the port runs flawlessly on my machine.

This video was recorded in Snapz Pro X, edited in Final Cut Express, and compressed in Adobe Media Encoder CS4 on an Early 2009 24" iMac with a 3.06Ghz C2D, 4GB DDR3 RAM, and an ATI HD4850 GFX card. Enjoy ;)
