007: Nightfire on an Intel Mac running Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard in a Crossover-based wrapper.

007: Nightfire is a first-person shooter set in the James Bond universe. Nightfire is different from most 007 games, as Nightfire has it's own original story line instead of being adapted from a Bond movie. The game uses the same GoldSrc engine found in Half-Life 1 and CounterStrike 1.6, though the iteration used in Nightfire improves shaders, allows for more realistic lighting effects (explosions, lamps, etc.), vastly improves reflections and more. In 2004, Aspyr released a Mac port of 007: Nightfire. As of 2009, Aspyr has released no updates concerning compatibility with Intel Macs or with Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard or above (Nightfire still works on 10.4 Tiger).

This is my (djblastyfone)'s own port of the game. Pretty much everything works perfectly, with a few small bugs here and there, the majority of which are due to the age of the GoldSrc engine. The game runs fine with everything maxed out except for Anti-Aliasing, which doesn't work in Crossover anyway.

Sometimes the game gives an error when quitting the game: "Bond.exe has suffered a fatal error and needs to close", just quit using command-Q. Also, cutscenes cannot be skipped. I have created an alias to the cutscenes folder in the "007 - Nightfire" folder so you can disable all, some or none of the ingame movies.
