The Megacity demo is a futuristic cityscape – alive with flying vehicles, scores of highly detailed game objects and unique audio sources – that showcases what's possible with the Data-Oriented Technology Stack (DOTS) in Unity 2019.1. This is a brief introduction to the project and how we leveraged Unity's "Performance by default" to create a massive game world full of complex objects and simulations.
