Papers, Please is a dystopian paperwork-checking drama. You are a clerk ensuring that all who are crossing the border have their documents in order.

Most of the text is available in Russian. The goal is to ensure that all paperwork is consistent and follows all the rules while verifying as many people as possible in a limited time. Mistakes are swiftly cited, causing Pavlovian dread of the printer. Papers, Please incentivizes rapid and accurate reading. Especially challenging are conversations with story characters, since the dialogue disappears quickly and may have instructions concerning future visitors. For the challenge of speed reading, I unequivocably recommend Papers, Please.
