This is the trick that you may have already seen in my previous RTA of Ascension. So here's a more in-depth look at it and also other results of what the glitch can do.

So, it turns out that doing the "passive" air Tether (where Kratos doesn't attack but just lazily moves his hand for a moment) into a cutscene causes a temporary break-out upon landing on ground. In most cases this is not particularly useful since time is stopped during 99% of cutscenes. However, in this place time is not stopped, so you can have Kratos do Shield Run or other attacks during the cutscene.

The time saving variation involves doing a Shield Run forward. The trigger of using Eyes of Truth exists there and you become checkpointed. Retrying from the new checkpoint is the most sure-fire way to continue playing on in the level, and you save 15 seconds or so, having skipped a part of the cutscene and the cinematic walk.

Doing magics inside the cutscene is also fairly interesting. This glitches up the camera angle AND Kratos' angle, making him do the slow cinematic walk to some strange direction. You can walk right past Alecto and Tisiphone onto some strange floor out of bounds. But eventually you just fall down.

It is sometimes possible to not have to retry when reaching the Eyes of Truth checkpoint, but most of the time the Fury Barrier is kind of glitchy and it seems difficult to activate. Kratos can also walk right through it.

Retrying from the Eyes of Truth-checkpoint, you'll see Alecto is currently hanging out in t-pose! Tisiphone is also curiously absent from the remaining cutscene.
